The Story
On the night of October 31, 1981, Voldemort broke into the Potter household. In an attempt to stall Voldemort from reaching his family, James Potter tried to fight him off. Voldemort wasted no time in killing the man but James died a hero, nonetheless. The Dark Lord then made his way up the stairs to the second level of the house, following the hushed sounds of Lily and baby boy Harry. Throwing open the door he warned Lily to get out of the way, that she could be spared for the life of her son, the chosen one.
Like any other mother would, Lily sacrificed herself for her son. In doing so she placed upon him the strongest magic known to man-kind. The power of a mothers love for her child. When Voldemort cast the Killing Curse on Harry, much to his surprise, the spell bounded off of Harry and missed hitting him by inches. This intrigued the Dark Lord immensely, never had anyone been able to survive the curse, especially a one year old child. He then decided that having Harry around might not be so bad, if he was on the right side, His side.
He quickly grabbed the little boy and apparated before Dumbledore and The Order of the Phoenix arrived.

When the Order had arrived they found the bodies of both James and Lily Potter, but sadly Harry was nowhere to be found. They feared the worst and assumed that Harry had been killed and his body taken for revenge. That was something Voldemort would do, in their minds.

The next morning an article appeared in the Prophet about the whole affair. The Wizarding World began to prepare for the worst. Hoping and praying that things would work out for the best. After a long war, for both sides, Dumbledore fell and his people fell. The world as they knew it would soon change and Voldemort was now ruler.
He set forth a slew of new laws, many of which had much opposition. It was the fear of many that he would kill all that didn't have pure blood. That fear, however, was for naught. He did set laws to keep pure blood pure. He didn't kill anyone, besides those who opposed him and, surprisingly, muggle-borns were still allowed into the community.
The Wizarding world was still hidden, Voldemort wasn't stupid enough to act too quickly after such a huge battle. He could wait a while before that, just long enough for numbers to grow. Which would happen soon enough.
All the while Voldemort cared for Harry as his own son and actually grew quite attached to him. He began to teach Harry things, much like any father would. He felt pride for himself and for Harry as well. Soon they began to grow a strong bond for each other.
The Plot
It is now the 6th year of Harry Potter's schooling. With his god father, Serverus, as his head of house and Headmaster, school life is pretty good. It also helps him that his father, Voldemort, is the most loved and feared man in all of their world.
Along with his best friend, Draco Malfoy, they rule the school as kings. They fear nothing, as they are feared themselves. It's nice to get away with everything. Although, they sometimes wish people didn't only respect them because of their names and money. They, however, would never admit it or fight it.
Things have been different for the boys however. They've reached their sixteenth birthday's and know what will soon be coming: the news of their wives. They don't exactly have future wives in mind, but that isn't to say that they are keen on being forced into a marriage. This year will prove to be one of the best or worst of their lives.
Harry also doesn't realize, but people are starting to act strangely around him. Mostly older folks, around the age of his father. Some have even had the gall to inform him of his supposed "real parents", which when he asked his father he found out was a lie. He doesn't have the slightest idea about what these people are talking about, however intriguing it is, it is more than slightly annoying.
Little does he know that people are correct in their assumptions. Soon he will find out the truth of his past. Which will set in motion something no one would ever believe. Will Harry believe these people and their stories? Will he set forth to find the answers for himself? Will Voldemort be taken down by the man he raised as his own son?
