Thanks For The Memories
"C'mon Evans, you know you don't want to share a common room with that stingy Malfoy. Or any of those Slytherin gits for that matter, just come back to the Gryffindor common room." James Potter's voice was persistant and held a vague hint of amusement in it as he stood in front of the common room door, trying to stop Lily from leaving.
"We're just prefects James, besides, Remus will be there too. If I need any help, I'll make sure to call upon his services." For four years James Potter had been asking her out nightly, and now he chose to worry about her? When she'd be entering an entirely new area of the castle with seven other people he was getting worried?
"But Malfoy, that snake, will take any available moment to attack you," James left out the little detail as to why, but knew what was coming next.
"And why is that Mr. Potter? What have you done to him this time?" Lily didn't like being mixed up in their little wars, but because of James Potter, she didn't exactly have a choice. And he called Lucius a git?
"You mean something to me Lily, Lucius knows that, he will do anything he can to avenge me and Sirius for cursing him and Lestrange. I don't want him to get back at you." He was mildly sweet in caring for her, but the reasoning was a tad off. Lucius wouldn't go as far as to hurt Lily, would he? No, that was rubbish.
"You'd deserve it James, but thanks for warning me." Lily smiled warmly and leaned in, giving him a faint brush of her lips upon his cheek before she easily pushed his shocked body out of the way and left.
"She's good," James mumbled, rubbing his cheek in an astonished manner, "d**n good."
"Bellatrix, darling, no one's going to find out," Rodolphus grabbed her forearm, pulling her towards him with a strong force. He could tell she wanted to wince from the pressure of his hand on her arm, but she masked it over with a fierce tone.
"Oh yeah Rodolphus, they'll never know we're Death Eaters. They'll never know the reason they left and put some bint in charge was because of us. And they'll definitely never know that as they prance around in a war that doesn't even exist, that you and Lucius plan to take over the school." So Rodolphus was turning into a power-hungry maniac, it was a definite turn on if they didn't have other things to do.
"You already know the plan, we're going to set our Miss Iris Laertes up with someone, we'll get her mind off of school, and it'll be easier to take over it. Have faith," he said as he pulled her closer, their bodies connecting.
"Devious," Bellatrix was warming up to the idea, but was still a bit hesitant, "it's right up our alley babe, just don't do something stupid, like get caught." Bellatrix pushed from the ground with her feet, standing on her toes as Rodolphus leaned in a bit, a kiss finishing the deal. With a superior smirk on his face, he watched her walk away, leaving the room.
"That woman's a hard one to control," Rodolphus shook his head, "but if Lucius got Narcissa, how hard should it be to get Bellatrix?"
"Miss Laertes, are you sure you can handle the entire school?" Dumbledore's words were serious as he spoke, looking at the younger girl with a stern look on his face.
"Professor Dumbledore, I might be young, but how long do you think you'll be gone? A week or so? I can handle a school of a thousand plus easily. I didn't go through Auror training to be so easily fooled by a Slytherin or outsmarted by a Ravenclaw." Iris gave him a proper smile, her legs crossed at the ankle as she sat before him.
"You are aware that lessons will be stopped until we return, correct?" He had a weary expression on his face, there was a war in Canada and they were being sent to take care of it. Iris was the recommended Auror to take over Hogwarts for a short period of time. However, he did not suspect that he would be gone longer than a month.
"I am completely aware of this Professor. There's nothing these students can throw at me that I can't handle." So wasn't that much older than them, 23 was only 5 years older than the oldest student at Hogwarts. Any of these boys could figure her to be 19, maybe even 20, because of how in shape she had kept her body, but beneath it all was a fireball named Iris Laertes.
"Good, I'll see you soon." Dumbledore left his office, Iris instantly regretting taking the job. This school had some pretty interesting people in it, perhaps even some dangerous students. But hey, she had gone threw four years of Auror training, and a year of boot camp, what could they possibly get away with?

I can love you like no one can,
I can be your superman, (superman),
just take my hand let's fly away,
I promise I'll be there everyday,
just close your eyes let's start to fly,
I'm gonna love you until I die, (till I die),
Until the day of my death to my very last breath,
I'm gonna love you when no ones left.

Come fly with me baby,
Yeah I'm the one,
With the S on my chest,
Forget about your ex,
He don't know what love is,
He just failed the test,
Plus he don't treat you right,
He keeps you crying all night.
See, hes like your kryptonite,
I came to give you their strength,
So you can leave him behind,
You can start all over.
