Name: Dakyras Regnak
Age: 90
Species: Half Demon
Information:
-Outline- A half demon, created by an unknown entity to be a bounty hunter for his race due to the demons inability to exist on "our" plain of existence. Dakyras broke away from the demons hold, and soon established himself hunting down those lucky few who escape from hell, and bringing them to Lucifers justice. Gifted with nigh-on indestructability and other strenghts to endure the inevitable dangers of his task, Dakyras lives for only two things, to meet his master and turn his abilities upon him, and to finally be relieved of a duty bound on him from birth which was completely unwanted.
-Strengths-
(1) Regeneration. No matter how grevious the wound (unless under certain circumstances - see below) Dakyras can swiftly heal any wound or defeat any infection that enters his body.
(2) Pyrotechnic. Dakyras can coat his hands and arms with fire, and project it from his body (throwing fireballs). He is also completely immune to any fire based attacks - and is shielded from its effects.
-Weaknesses-
(1) Cold temperatures. Slows down and in some cases completely halts his regeneration.
(2) Gold and Silver. Wounds caused by these metals cannot be regenerated full stop, unless Dakyras returns to his home, hidden in the depths of Wales to regenerate them, and even then the wounds take days - perhaps even months - to regenerate.
(3) Due to his demonic nature, Dakyras is physically repelled by items of "True Faith" (i.e. Crosses from Churches rather than one bought in a tourist shop) and finds it difficult to focus and sometimes even move around members of the clergy.
Why you think you should have this creature: I've been explained the whole Preston plot by Ben - and I love the idea. I also think, from what he's told me about the character, that he shouldn't have been able to get out without any consequences. The idea of having a fully fledged demon coming out after him seemed a bit too much, so I grabbed an idea out of the Preacher books - and the character I wanted Ben simply told me I wouldn't be able to have. So I kind of settled in the middle, which I felt was more balanced.
