Ahrmemdia
Heartwood used to be a peaceful place. Nearly everyone there lived simple lives, nothing too exciting ever happen in Heartwood, except the regional farmers market. Everyone who lived there had a peaceful and long life.
It’s been five years since the raids began on the Heartwood village. For years small raids were put in to plan, and thousands of innocent people died with in one year. All over Ahrmemdia, tiny bloodthirsty raids, took place, shattering a once peaceful world.
Stephen Akakios lived in a small house on the edge of the village. He hated the way things were run, manly because he still had some grudges against the Evans. His lust for power grew when his twin sister married the mayor of Requirium. Stephen was the misfit of the family, he could never do anything right, in his parents eyes. His sister Jessi, on the other hand, had everything. A nice house, a loving husband and a family on the way. She was pregnant with there first child.
A plague broke out when a 6th region was made, Kimrek. With this new land came new disease’s. These new disease’s did not mix well. People were mutated into all different shapes and forms.
Jessi began feeling bad for her sick brother, nothing would stop this new disease, his skin became ice cold and pale white, his eyes lost all color and were now a pale gray. Dark rings began to from around his eyes. He was growing weaker and weaker with every day. On the 7th day he collapsed and for the next 5 days he would not wake. They thought he was dead a long with many others. They buried him on the 6th day. On the 7th all hell broke lose. Anyone that had this same problem dug each other out and formed a group; The Akakios.
These were the d**ned people, the misfits. Early next morning the Akakios attacked Heartwood and other city's under the leader of Stephen Akakios. The slaughter nearly the whole town. Out of the 5,500 people there were only 450 left.
This tragic event was only days after The Evan’s family moved to Heartwood. They had three children, one was 5 the other two were twins, and they the brutal raid was on there 3 birthday.
Now the twins are 17, and the eldest is 20 and for 14 years peace has been restored to the land. Stephen has not been found but the police have reported him dead. All the evidence leads to that conclusion. But now there have been traces of vampires in every region, and people have been going missing and found dead, the life sucked out of them. Will the past repeat it self and will the twins have the strength and power to defeat the Akakios for the last time...... Only time will tell.
Present:
The Future is looking bright for Heartwood, everything has been rebuilt and people are finally easing up around the town. There not afraid the Akakios now that Eric Evans is the Mayor.
hahaha
The government is doing a great job at hiding the tension. They all know the Akakios is still out there, hence why Mayor Evans had the warning for everyone to stay indoors, covering that up with some silly natural disaster bull sh*t. Now he was put a curfew into effect, saying it's to keep the crime level low. BAHAHAHAH, what crime level?. I Tell you one thing, Mayor Evans isn't going to last long with his own family not listening to commands. He will fall and we will rise again. - Stephen Akakios
An entry in Heartwood Today
What do you have to say about The Akakios coming back?
There are a few of those optimistic journalist out there that like to well as I call it spread the truth just a little. There is no way that the Akakios is still around, Stephen is dead. They have no leader, they are nothing. Those very few sightings are just probably either a figure of your imagination or just a scary looking shadow. Like when you where younger and afraid of the monster under the bed, but then your father came in a pulled a sweater out for underneath it. That's what we are doing, bring the truth to the people's blind eyes.
So the Heartwoodians are blind?
In a matter of way yes. Everyone is so afraid that the Akakios is going to come back that they fail to see the good in Heartwood. It's like a curtain leaving them in the dark, we're opening the curtain and letting in the truthful light.
