IT’S NOT A CRY YOU CAN HEAR AT NIGHT .[/size]
“Some men aren’t looking for anything logical. They can’t be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn...”
1980 never felt so tragic. And even in the middle of December, as the year draws to a close, England and all of its inhabitants can feel the weight of the shadow growing. It seems to be getting more and more difficult to determine fact from fiction, friend from foe. Because your neighbor, your best friend, your brother… are all bound by the secrets they share. The world everyone thought they knew no longer exists. Where once there was peace in coexistence… where people would sing ‘All You Need is Love’… radical pureblood elitists now terrorize the nation with slow, painful agony. Because although the muggles no nothing of magic except in fairytales and children’s stories, the headlines read the same horrors of disappearance and death.
They are no longer the Knights of Walpurgis. Under the cover of a different name, a new breed of villains has emerged. One that cares little for who they hurt, as long as in the end they achieve the ultimate victory. To rid the world of filth and impurity while they watch the gutters run with blood. To prove to the world that magic is might, and that the strength of a wizard is determined not by his skill, but by his family tree. All while their leader strives to become more than a man, but a legend, marking his own soul seven times in the ultimate quest for immortality.
“I have no heart. I feel no love. Nor fear, nor joy, nor sorrow. I am hollow… and I will live forever…”
IT’S NOT SOMEBODY WHO’S SEEN THE LIGHT .
“Introduce a little anarchy… upset the established order… well then everyone loses their minds…”
His name is Voldemort. No longer the brilliant youth, Tom Marvolo Riddle has picked up in the footsteps of the infamous Gellert Grindelwald in his ambitions to reach a ‘Greater Good’. Never has wizarding England been subjects of such inflicted fear, because never have they had to face one so merciless. Never have they seen such prejudice. Such hate. Never have they believed that a man was any less of a man because of his blood. But now they question. Would they betray a friend to save their own family? To save themselves?
His Death eaters are ambitious, they know nothing of compassion or of innocence, they only seek to destroy it. And what makes them the most powerful is that they have nothing to lose. In their fight, they seek to change. They seek a revolution. They fight for a cause, and they fight out of fear. Who in their right minds would stand up to a force so foul, so dangerous, and still growing in numbers? However there is one thing Voldemort doesn’t know. While he was busy making horcruxes, his old prodigy, Regulus Black, was working to destroy them. Slytherin’s locket now lies in one of the cupboards of Grimmauld Place, as the youngest Black son dies a deserter to the cause.
“But the only thing they love more than a hero is to see a hero fail, fall, die trying…”
IT’S A COLD AND IT’S A BROKEN HALLELUJAH .
“Endure. You ca be the outcast. You can make the choice that no one else will face - the right choice…”
But hope is not entirely lost. Under Headmaster Albus Dumbledore a secret organization was formed just over a year ago called the Order of the Phoenix, where only the bravest, the most sure of their beliefs, are called upon to rise to the cause. They are the silent and unseen beacon of home that England needs in these moments. The ones who are willing to sacrifice their own lives for a belief in a better world where people can live in peace instead of fear. Who will fight without question for muggles. For innocents. For those they don’t even know… have never even met.
In January of the same year, a woman by the name of Sibyl Trelawny foresaw what will go down in history for ages to come. Overheard by one unknown, he went to tell the Dark Lord straight away of the prophecy that told of the Dark Lord’s downfall. However, there were two families that indeed fit the prophecy Trelawny made. Two boys born to parents who thrice defied him. Potter. Longbottom. While Severus Snape duels his own conscience over his own allegiance, while members of the Order are fighting not only for their freedom, but now for their families, and while Voldemort presses on with a monstrous vengeance, there is no longer denying that war is finally upon us. It’s a matter of life and death. Of where we place our trust, and our hearts.
“Death does not wait for you to be ready. Death is not considerate or fair. And make no mistake… here, you face death…”------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i would have stayed up with you all night, had i known .
HOW TO SAVE A LIFE .
