The last term ended with a terrible tragedy.
A night that should have been wonderful, a memorable ball ended in the massacre of students and professors alike when Dementors attacked.
Who was responsible for it?
And could it really be that noone WITHIN Hogwarts had known about this?
Could this be the work of the Death Eaters alone?
But what is the Grey Alliance?
And who is behind the mysterious organization called DOOM?

Term 1996-1997 has started.
Life goes on. The world doesn't stop turning.
But for those who are still in Hogwarts, the ride only goes downwards from here on!
There is right and there is wrong.
There is good and there is evil.
There is peace and there is war.
We’ve got truth and we’ve got lies.
Here is brilliance and there is madness.
And sometimes, there’s only a thin line between them.
Who’s crossed it? No one can say for certain....
Look at your best friend: is he on your side? Can you be sure?
Look at the headmaster: Don’t you think he’s evil?
Take a look at the next Slytherin: is she simply organizing a next prank or is it something much darker?
Or gaze upon the student sitting next to you: will he still be alive tomorrow?

There is always more than meets the eye:
How many wizards and witches are not too scared to fight against the re-rising terror of the infamous Lord Voldemort?
And who is really good?
Who is merely a scamming ‘double agent’?
How many groupings of the dark forces are there really?
And how many of these fiends have already entered Hogwarts, having the Ministry Of Magic fooled and blinded by imitating a friendly professor?
Is peace really an option or will there only be silence after the last ‘mudblood’ has died or when the last Dark Arts devotee is sitting in Azkaban?
Do you really think you can trust anybody other than yourself?
Or have you already lost trust in your own perception of what is good and what is evil?
Do you think a silent, sweet disposition could never bear a biest within?
Are you sure that the students are ‘just kids’ or already the next lethal generation of Dark Arts followers?
How can the students know whether their favourite professor is not parallely plotting on the next deadly attack on Hogwarts?
This is for sure though:
the next attack is closer than the supposedly safe students know, closer than the MOM would ever admit, nearing faster and arriving in such an unpredictable fashion that the ‘good’ ones will be caught off guard!
